When your bestie lives in Jacksonville and you live in Gainesville, sometimes you have to get creative when it comes to seeing each other. A beach session sounded like the perfect excuse to bring our families together at this gorgeous beach to hang and update their family portraits. This was little Palmer’s first time in front of my camera, however, her older brother, Fin, qualifies as a seasoned veteran by now.
Originally, they were going to dress in a more fall-themed color palette, however, at the last minute, decided to go with these muted blues and pale pinks, as advised by my style guide (included with every session). They could not have
complimented the natural pastels of the beach any better. The soft contrast and
pops of color of their wardrobe selection took their photos from good to great!
These little tots flawlessly worked the camera, while still having a blast running down the beach, playing in the sand, and an occasional wrestle match, just to make sure we were paying attention. After, we huddled up under a pavilion for a picnic dinner with my family and another family/client, and embraced our angelic little humans while they played, yelled and stole each other’s goldfish. And just to add to the fun? A monsoon blew in, just as we unpacked all the snacks, and held us hostage for a while – I loved it!
I love this family soooo much and can’t wait to reunite with them soon!
